As an organization, we acknowledge and regret the role that we have played in perpetuating systemic inequalities and injustices. We are committed to acknowledging and addressing the impacts of our past actions and to creating a more equitable and inclusive future. We are dedicated to promoting a culture of respect and inclusiveness for all and to continuously improving our policies and practices to ensure that everyone is valued and has equal opportunities for growth and success.
Traditional Custodians and Indigenous Peoples
Sigato Group acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands and waters on which we live and work, and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, for they hold the wisdom, history and traditions therein. In Michigan, the Ojibwe, Odawa, and Bodewadmi nations. In Hawaii, the Kānaka Maoli. In South Carolina, the Kiawah and Ittiwan of the Cosabo People.
With a commitment to recognition and reconciliation, we acknowledge the ongoing impact of past policies and practices, and commit ourselves to creating justice and equality for all people.
